Growler from Engine 15

A beautiful golden/yellow, nice lacing and a 2 finger head

S this is what spring smells like, beautiful jasmine and floral notes, the jasmine is amazing! with just a hint of underlying funk

T follows the nose, with a delicious sweet touch of Jasmine and the wonderful spicy and funky taste of a true Belgian Saison

M perfectly carbonated

I would drink this year round if it were available. When I shared the growler with some friends at a local brewery one of the brewers commented, "he nailed it," and I could not agree more!

Like all Engine 15 beers this is done well. A Belgian-style ale brewed with honey and jasmine flowers. This is from the recipe of Jamie and Mindy Gillis, local well-known homebrewers. The beer is a nice dark golden color with perfect white cloudy head. The smell is what set this beer off. Amazing floral-garden aromas and a nice belgian yeast presence. Sometimes when you add alternative ingreidents to beers they are either barely noticeable or way too strong. This was perefectly balanced which was a suprise because the nose was so strong. But, they nailed it! Equal parts floral, belgian yeast, and honey. This is what balance is! I'm a huge saison fan and this is one of my favorites for sure. This is what I want to drink in the summer and spring... well the rest of the year too. : )
