Poured into a snifter at the brass tap. Pours a hazy goldenrod looks great backlit as well even with low clarity. Bright white head deflates quickly leaving no lace. Smells of spicy Belgian yeast with hints of a botanical medicinal note that's hard to place. Very interesting. The taste is an amped up version of the nose. The rye is apparent but not overpowering it compliments the yeast spice very well , followed up by pale malt sweetness and a hint of possibly wheat? Not bad but still interesting. I think as it warms this could open up well. The 8.3 abv is non existent, would have thought 6 at most, extra points there. As it warms some citrus notes come into play and the spice is more apparent. The mouth feel is silky yet vibrant without being fizzy. All and all a very fun beer with some interesting complexity. Well done.

Served in a snifter at the brewery. Arrives a somewhat murky, lemon gold color with a sparse white head that soon becomes nothing more than a ring around the top of the beverage.
Aroma is yeasty with cloves and coriander, lemon peel, white pepper.
Nice flavor on this one. More lemon, loads of spicy coriander, Belgian type yeast flavors, cracked pepper and a bit if breadiness. This one has some rye in it which certainly adds to the slickness of the beer but doesn't contribute much in the way of flavor.
Overall a nice beer. I am not an expert in Saisons, but I like this one. Weighs in at 8.5% abv.

Half finger head on a murky dull gold body with excellent lacing. Aroma is tangy with tangerine and pineapple for citrus and some Belgian yeast. Flavor is also of tangy citrus with a nice amount of pineapple and tangerine, some herbal hops. Not much in the way of yeast or malt. Medium body and moderate carbonation with a very dry finish. Nice full flavor and body for the saison. One of the better brews I just would like more Belgian presence to rate this one better.
