Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is coffee but not over the top. Taste is smooth coffee and a bit bitter. Mouthfeel is okay for an oatmeal stout. It's a coffee stout and it's not bad.

This one I was looking forward too, love the label. A dark brown beer with some carbonation viable on the sides. The head is a light tan with OK retention.
Rich roasted malt with coffee, chocolate, oatmeal, yeast caramel, earth, yeast, and some wood.
A rich toasted malt with oatmeal, caramel, earth. Yeast floral, roasted malt, biscuit, and yeast.
The mouthfeel is creamy smooth slightly carbonated and chewy.
This good oatmeal stout my only complaint is I wish the body was a tad bit more stout. Nonetheless it is very drinkable.

Pours very dark with 2 inch mocha head
Lots of roast and dark chocolate on the nose
Palate follows with smooth mouth feel and great body for a lower ABV beer
Overall a really solid oatmeal stout

Decent stout. But way too thin. And nothing screaming I'm special. It's ok

Awesome frothy coating down the glass on this one! I really like this although it is a bit thin and 'amateurish'. Probably the best tenaya creek ice tasted do far.

Found this beer to be a GREAT let down. Very thin with little flavor.

I was pleasantly surprised with this beer. I have no experience with Tenaya Creek, but I found this offering to be a very suitable oatmeal stout. The appropriate flavors - roasted oats, semi-sweet chocolate and dark roast coffee - were definitely present. I found the mouthfeel a bit lacking because it was barely bubbling, but perhaps that is personal preference. There was also a bit of sediment at the bottom of the bomber bottle I sampled. Not quite in the same league as the Sam Smith's of the beer world, but definitely a a worthy brew.
