It was Frederik Christian Rasmussen who built a brewery in 1897 on a bare field near the village of Indslev on the main road between Odense and Middelfart on Northwest Funen. Frederik was an enterprising man. In addition to being a brewer, he was also a veterinarian, farmer, parish council chairman, county council member and much more. We honor the brewery's founder with this light, crisp wheat beer with a refreshing spicy aroma of citrus and white pepper and an aromatic, sparkling and dry body.

Copenhagen 6/4 2016. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Dirty yellow label signals that this is a Easter Seasonal.
Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a flimsy almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma of wheat, sugar and yeast. Sweet banana, lemonade and a whiff of musty cellar.
Fizzy carbonation and watery palate. Lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is sweetish and quite watery. Sweet banana in the aftertaste supplemented by light sourness.
Sweetish thirst quencher. Too watery and fizzy to be of any real interest.
