Pours chill hazed deep straw/pale gold producing 1.5 fingers of fizzy, shortlived, white head that leaves no appreciable lace. Aroma is barnyard wet hay, earthy & phenolic (Band-aide) Belgian yeast funk, fruity tart citrus (lemon /lime) with hints of white fruits, peppery spice, egg whites, thin banana, thin cloves & no hops. Taste is tart green apple & citrus, Brett like mustiness from the wild yeast used, Band-Aide phenolic, earth, carbonation heavy peppery bite, less intense fruitiness than the nose with mineral, green apple & a little grapefruit in the dry finish. The shortlived but very dry aftertaste is earthy, phenolic & lightly fruity. Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied with high carbonation, lively in the mouth, prickly, tight & dry. Nice.

I rarely if ever look for a soured saison but I really like the stuff Fullsteam does and try to support them from over here in Greensboro as much as possible.Came in a tulip glass a hazed honeyed light golden with a thinner white head atop.Tart lemons and funk with a light minty quality, tart is the main word.Lemony tart with a bit of cheese and barnyard funk on thepalate, the sourness stayes on the tongue. It's refreshing and doesn't seem as big as it is,not my thing but it's quite good for what it is.
