Sampled at the brewpub in Las Vegas in August 2003.
This apricot ale poured a clear, amber red color with white foam that settled but clung to the glass a bit and left thin lace. The smell was mostly mild caramel malt but with a hint of apricot. The taste was mild: caramel malt and mild apricot with very low hop presence. The mouthfeel was smooth and relatively clean. The body was medium-light with good carbonation. The apricot flavor was fairly subtle and not at all overpowering. This was a decent fruit ale but was a bit thin on body and flavor overall.
