Cloudy in the tall tulip, a frosted amber that is quite attractive. Modest head but lots of mouth-filling carbonation.
Thick and rich, an intense flavor of yeasty Belgian flavors and a substantial bitterness. After letting the glass sit for a while, the hops come through. Some floral aromatics seem to have climbed out of the funk. The aftertaste is more of the scratchy, yeasty stuff. Seems like a Farmhouse style mated with a good dose of IPA. Fruity nose with what smells to me like Cascade hoppy aroma.
From the Monthly Experimental Pilot Series ("MEPS"), which I had not encountered before. Thanks to Local Habit in San Diego for this one.
