On tap at brewpub:
Pours a dark golden, with a nice white cap sustained by streaming bubbles visible due to the clarity of the beer.
Not much strength in the nose, sort of an English yeast-based copper-like bitter beer. Little musty, little like and old pub.
In my mind this tastes like a fine representation of the English style beers, not an American facsimile. A mineral-tasting malt opening. The addition of bittering hops brings the metallic taste I get with these beers to bear. A dry herbal bitterness hits the edges of my tongue, fades to a dry grass by the end.
Appreciate the fact it seems to fit to style to me, but that metallic note always keeps these beers from being completely enjoyable to me.

Draft at the source.
Bright orange body with a thin, wispy head. Sweet, fruity, malty aroma. Light in body with caramel sweetness. Easy to drink. Tangy finish. Pretty good.

Had it on cask and tasted a little watery. Next time will try off cask.
