A nice white and foamy that last quite a while. Beer is a lemon yellow that is super cloudy.
Weak to moderate banana notes and a hint of cloves. The hops are fairly strong for the European style but perfect for the American version.
Body is on the heavier side for a light bodied beer.
Overall, a pretty good beer if overhopped.

Poured a hazy yellow with white head.
The smell was very light and consisted of mainly clove and a little banana.
The taste took me for a spin. Supperrr malty for the style. Pretty much straight bread on the back with a little banana on the front.
Overall a good beer but a little different than what was expected. Good none the less.

From 09/20/11 notes. Had on tap at the brewpub.
a - Pours a murky pale yellow color with an inch of white head and light carbonation evident. Looks a bit like grapefruit juice, and not that great.
s - Smells of citrus hopss, light cloves and spice, and bananas. Not too strong, but pretty nice.
t - Tastes of bananas, citrus hops, light cloves, and light bread. Again, not overly strong but enjoyable.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation.
o - Overall a pretty good hefe, but nothing too special. Not one of their better beers, but worth trying once. Probably wouldn't seek it out again.

On tap at the brewpub. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a cloudy bright yellow with a nice white head and some pretty good lacing on the way down. Nose brings forward a bit of light wheat as well as some clove and banana. The taste draws back a bit from the nose, which was quite light itself. Mostly a bit of light wheat characteristics with a touch of sweetness. Some mild clove and banana sit in the background. Feel is light with good carbonation. Light without too much flavor, but drinks quite well.

Everything about this heft was delightfully average. Pour us an unfiltered pale golden color with an off white head. Aroma is clover and yeasty with a slight cat piss hint. Flavor and mouthfeel are full bodied with strong yeast and banana notes, very mild and clove background. A very nice, smooth and balanced hefe, but nothing exceptional.
