light but crisp with some citrus notes. Decent bite on the hops, but not too much. Pretty easy drinking even right from the can. Picked up for $4 a sixer at Hy-Vee. For that price definitely a bargain and I will probably buy again.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a good-sized head of white foam. It smelled of caramel and butterscotch. Sweet caramel taste with very little bitterness.

12 oz can into Batch19 pint glass.
Nice golden color, hazy and not clear, head of 1 finger.
Light fruity aromas, some yeast esters, general beer-iness.
Flavor brings a great balance of hops and malt with enough fruity esters to make it highly enjoyable. I get notes of peach, flaked corn, blueberry, barley dust, and S-04 yeast.
Feel is crisp but very pleasantly creamy. Light starches on the finish. Remains crisp to the end.
Overall, for a lager it is highly enjoyable and solid. I find this very tasty and will continue to enjoy more of it. Expertly done style example and would recommend/purchase again.

Loaded Toad pours a bronze color, with a small, long lasting and non lacing head. Sweet aroma, light, smells like beer. Flavor is lighter, but full, sweeter, maltier. Lighter, but full feel. Overall, for what it is, its pretty good, good full flavor, very smooth.

Poured from 12-ounce can into a vintage Michelob lager glass. Clear golden yellow in color, with an aggressive pour yielding three fingers of thick white head. Decent head retention. minimal lacing. Dark bready malt, with a touch of light caramelly sweetness. Hop character is exquisite: bitter, grassy, herbal, and floral, complemented by orange and citrus zest and a very spicy and peppery bite that lingers on the palate. Well done, and a pleasant surprise!
Brewed exclusively for Hy-Vee Stores under the Warped Roots label.
