22oz bottle. No dating information found.
Black colored body, with a very thin red garnet back lit edge. Fizzy brown head disappears within seconds of the pour. No lacing.
Aroma of dark roasted malts, brown sugar, plum, vanilla, chocolate, and bourbon barrel.
Taste is sweet, with a considerable alcohol nose. Flavors of dark roasted malts, chocolate, plum, vanilla, oak, and bourbon barrel. Chocolate concentrates in the aftertaste. Rye spice.
Thicker than medium mouth feel. The syrup sweetness covers over the high ABV%. Supportive carbonation.
Heavy with the chocolate but the plum adds an additional flavor. This is a sipper for sure.
