A 330ml bottle with a BB of Nov 2013. Acquired recently from Trembling Madness in York. An IPA hopped with Simcoe and Summit.

Poured into a Delirium chalice. Bottle conditioned. A hazy sunset-amber hue with visible sediment and light carbonation. Yields a small head of white foam that lasts for a minute or so before disappearing. Aroma of intense fruity hops with notes of grapefruit, lime, citrus, white grape, sharp pine resin, subtle weed and a hint of white pepper. Underpinned by sweet caramel malt and earthy yeast. Good stuff.

Tastes of juicy aromatic hops with a spicy bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, orange peel, citrus, pine resin, dank weed, white grape, mild grass/hay, subtle spice, caramel malt, earthy yeast and stewed hops. A faint twinge of onions in the background. Quite dry, followed by a strident bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with soft carbonation and good body. Hop oils stimulate the palate. Pretty astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, citrus and earthy yeast.

Tasty - another intensely aromatic IPA from Kernel. Looks a bit lacklustre, but the aroma and flavour are amazing as always. Citrus fruit and mild pine, as well as a hint of onions imparted by these hop varieties. Decent body. Nice and nicely done; worth sampling if you stumble across it.
