500ml Bottle from Good Spirits Co, Glasgow:
Bright gold topped with a half centimetre tall, foamy white head that fades to a fine, unbroken lacing on the surface.
Light hops and some citrus notes start this one off on the nose, followed by some pineapple and various tropical fruits with some mango and apricot featuring alongside a hint of orange as well.
Pineapple and orange, this one is quite juicy and features some orange alongside the lighter hops and some fresh, grassy flavours. There is some biscuit around the middle and a few more grassy hops too.
Smooth with touches of bitterness but not as much as I had expected, the body is a light medium one and there is a hit of fizz throughout with moderate carbonation being the order of the day. It is dry towards the finish but still proved to be a very easy beer to drink.
Somewhat enjoyable and a nice, pleasant beer but nowhere near as good as some of the other pale ale's I've tried from the brewery.
