Pale Ale (Kohatu)

Pours a hazy golden amber coloration with a small, stable, fluffy head. Smell is a little subdued, with only faint biscuity malt citrus and pine coming through. Taste is a good balance of light biscuity malt and quite zesty citus hops with notes of tangerine and lime peel, some tropical pineapple and quite a bit of pine coming through as well. Finishes with a light bitterness and some citrus and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.

While it feels a little light-bodied, this is still a very nice Pale Ale with some zesty citrus notes and lighter tropical accents, as well as quite a bit of pine coming through. Not a particularly bold beer, but with a nice, mellow hop profile that is quite pleasant in its own way.
