Half pint at the Queen's Head Soho. Pours a paler gold with a bit of haze and thin head with some lacing. Nose is a mix of tropical, pine, and citrus, but is not as pronounced as some other Kernel beers I've had. Taste is crisp and contains bits of those same hop-related notes. Good, but a bit muddled. Overall, a very good beer, but not a standout for Kernel.

Kernel Pale Ale - Centennial Chinook Citra 5.4% from bottle.
Hazy pale yellow body with little head.
Strong hoppy aroma suggests an Amer. IPA but the hop level is appropriate for the flavor of a pale ale.
Light body and carbonation.
