From a 330ml bottle.
L: Murky, orange/khaki, thin head, some lacing. Nothing to look at, which is not unusual for Kernel's bottle-conditioned pale ales.
S: Bitter orange, lime, spice, rose petals. Superb, exotic, floral nose.
T: Citrus, floral, more rose petals. More delicate than it sounds. Soft rather than sweet.
F: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation and a sharp, bitter, dry finish.
O: Another unusual, delightful offering from Kernel. I had not heard of this hop before. Outstanding aroma. Heady, yet fresh. Malt base is invisible. It's all about the hop.
N.B. pouring the yeast sediment into the glass changes the character of the beer considerably. It introduces an earthy, slightly metallic edge. My preference is to retain the sediment in the bottle.
