Pale Ale (Ella, Mandarina Bavaria)

Pours murkly amber into a tulip; big white foamy head is two fingers high. Good lacing left on the sides.

The aroma is sweet passionfruit, ripe orange, papaya, mango, and fresh grass. There is some nice aromatic pine underneath it all and some fresh hops on the end.

The flavour is wonderfully grassy and hoppy - the two things I firstly pick up on. There is a good bitter edge to this ale, but it comes after the ripe tropical fruit and the grasses and the sweetness fades away. Very refreshing and quite balanced.

The feel is just right - some nice carbonation and light oilyness. It feels medium bodied.

This is another solid pale ale from the Kernel. They haven't put out a bad beer in my opinion.
