L- Pale gold, was pouring clear until right at the end when some sediment lifted and entered the pour. I also now see there is some quite heavy sediment left adhered to the bottle of the empty bottle. Pours with 5mm snow white head. Super-fine bubbles, nice looking and looks like it's going to hold well. (Ps 10 mins later - it does!).
S- Full-on hipster. I think the most prominent smell note is grapefruit, well, vertainly citrus fruit/s.
T- Citrus again, somewhere in between grapefruit > pomelo > orange. The Asian fruit pomelo might be closest, neither as blunt as grapefruit, nor as sweet as orange. Not much else gets through that for me.
F- Moderately dry, some body esp for a modest 4.5% so it's not too austere. All-in it's contemporary/hipster despite it's understated more trad labelling.
O- Not really for me in that I don't wish for beers where the dominant character is citrus fruit/s; call me old-school I seek grain+malts+more trad hopping.
p.s. Listed ingredients are: 'Water, hops, yeast, sugar, wheat, barley'.
Bottled 16/5/20 BB: 16/09/20. Bought from Real Ale London W9.
