330ml bottle from Wee Beer Shop, Glasgow (£3.50):
Caramel amber with a large, foamy head that's very light tan coloured & holds well with some fine bubbles rising to the surface too. Dark malts & chocolate kick things with some caramel & bread on top of a nutty base & an earthy bitterness. Caramel, chocolate & bread malts carry over to the taste with some sweetness & brown sugar coming through. It's balanced with moderate carbonation, a medium body & quite a smooth mouthfeel too. It's pleasant but not up there with the brewery's IPA's sadly.
