Malted barley, oats. Sitting somewhere between Northern English and American brown ales in style. Medium-bodied. Toasted nuts and dark caramel balanced by hop bitterness and gentle hop aromas.

Copenhagen 17/8 2022. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H. C. Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of creamy foam covering the surface of the beer. Massive lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a sharp scent of something chemical and citrus fruit. Toffee and caramel. Glue, smelly socks and sour grains. Lemon and grass.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly viscous and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit citric. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Immensely and overwhelmingly bitter Brown Ale.

Had on cask. Opaque almond brown with two fingers of beige foam and lacing. Brown malt with toast and toffee leading the nose, prune decently big, with faint nuts and hops. Taste hits the hops a lot more, bittering the profile, more earthy tons to the malts, prune is big. Feel is warm, medium bodied, hoppier and frothy on the finish
