Bottle shared at Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Hazy orange with a white head. Notes of grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit and honey. Medium body and carbonation.

On-tap at the brewery into a pint-sized goblet.
A: Cloudy blood-orange body with a thin layer of fine off-white head. Ok retention, nice light lace. Not bad.
S: Intense, in-your-face hoppiness. Tons of grapefruit, grass, and resin. Some sweet caramel malt plays a supporting role. Very, very nice.
T: Spicy hops just blast off right away, followed by piquant grapefruit zest, light pine, and just a hint of malt on the back end - not enough to counter the overwhelming hop bitterness, but that's more than fine by me. I love it.
M: Lively medium body; nice soft carbonation. Very pleasant.
O: Yet another stunningly good hoppy brew from the Kernel. This might have been my favorite of the various Pale Ale iterations I tried, as the Nugget really managed to get across a wide range of delicious flavors and aromas. I had no idea it was so versatile.
Cheers!
