Our love for dark beers at the Kernel led to this beer, a 'Double IPA' of Porters. Our largest hop bill goes into making this intense and rich beer; our EIP turned up to 11. The dry hop brightens the heavy roast flavours, and the bitterness stays with you well after you have finished sipping.

330ml brown glass bottle. Mosaic & Columbus hops.
L: Black with two fingers of foam the colour of milk chocolate.
S: Cocoa nibs and espresso.
T: Espresso with one teaspoon of brown sugar, a cube of dark chocolate and a small handful of black cherries. A charred, smokey bitterness that builds.
F: Full body with a rich, oily mouthfeel, moderate carbonation and a bone dry finish.
O: A deeply satisfying fruity, chocolatey, extra dry porter. Fantastic sipper. Demands to be drunk more than the 7.5% ABV permits.
