Our Pale Ale is brewed to be dry, clean, and light-bodied – the perfect base for showcasing the distinct character of the hops we use. Each batch follows the same simple foundation, but the hop varieties change depending on what’s fresh, available, and in season.
This approach allows each brew to highlight the individual aroma and flavour qualities of hops from around the world, with the beer acting as a frame rather than the picture itself.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Slightly hazy golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma and flavour of citric hops (no surprise), but this hop combination also gives a "spicy" hop character that blends very well with the citrus notes. Refreshing and eminently drinkable.

330ml brown glass bottle. A clear (after a careful pour), bitter, West Coast-style pale ale from London. Biscuity, herbal, resinous and nicely oily. Good stuff. Was expecting more tropical fruit from the hop varieties but maybe leaving the yeast in the bottle changed the flavour profile as well as eliminating the haze.
