A - A hard pour yields a cloudy dark gold liquid with a finger of frothy white head. This soon descends to a ring an island. Looks ok.
S - These guys do make a really good smelling beer. Citrus, earthiness, woodiness, anise, peach, floral notes, a resinous quality, light biscuity malt. Nice balance and very enticing.
T - Unfortunately a step down from the aroma. Woodiness transitions in citrus. Biscuity malt and peach in the middle. Grapefruit and resin are present at the end and linger into the aftertaste. Generally somewhat muted, but with decent balance.
M - Below average. Vapid and watery body with the carbonation not lending anything significant interest.
D - Great aroma, but a letdown in other areas.
