My second from Kernel - the first was excellent
S.A.N.S as in simcoe, Amarillo, nelson and sauvin hops
Asked to pour gently which I did but the result was a murky, muddy appearance which was somewhat off putting.
The hops blasted from the glass but I was unable to distinguish one from another.
Excellent, refreshing, no holds barred hoppy flavour
Bitter throughout. Well carbonated.
Very good again from Kernal.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Oct 2013 (bottled June 2013). Picked up recently from Trembling Madness in York. The label mentions that this is hopped with Simcoe, Amarillo and Nelson Sauvin.
Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned. A hazy sunset-orange with fine sediment and light carbonation. Produces a huge head of creamy white foam with good retention; this slowly subsides to a thick surface layer. Slight lacing. Aroma of fruity hops with hints of mango, passionfruit, white grape, melon and citrus. Underpinned by sweet caramel malt and earthy yeast. Delicious.
Tastes of fruity aromatic hops with a dry, bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, orange peel, citrus, white grape, melon, mild tropical fruit, caramel malt, earthy yeast and stewed hops. Slightly harsh, with a touch of cardboard in the background. The aromatic hops are subdued . Good attenuation, followed by a dry, spicy bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with prickly hop oils, pleasant carbonation and good body. Could be a shade more effervescent. Quite astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, earthy yeast and mild caramel.
Pretty good, though not as mind-blowing as some of their other offerings. Perhaps the hops have faded a little. Looks nice, with an aroma that is decidedly hop-laden and fruity. The flavour is less intense, with reduced aromatic hops and more yeast. Satisfying body. A well-crafted brew; it simply lacks the wow factor. Worth sampling if you have the chance.

Dark straw color, with a light, foamy head that dissipates slowly leaving chunks of lacing on the glass. Smell is grapefruit and grass with a touch of melon. Taste is a bit bready and mildly bitter. Feel is medium-light with light carbonation. Finish is quite bitter and aspirin-like. About a quarter of the glass in, the bitterness starts numbing the palate and the aftertaste mellows. Overall this is a decent hop bomb, but not great.
