Bottle conditioned at 5.1%ABV. Misty straw with a thin white head.
The Citra eminates itself upon smelling. A mixture including lime, orange and melon which continues into the flavour. Not much dryness or bitter is apparent.
A soft bottle conditioned feel.
The Kernel normally does better to showcase a single hop variety.

500ml brown glass bottle.
L: Hazy, dark orange with one finger of easily revived cream head with spotty lacing.
S: Underripe citrus with a green edge.
T: Citrus less dominant than herbal edge.
F: Medium body, low carbonation, dry finish.
O: Enjoyable but green and weedy citra single-hop pale ale. Unexpected?

Pours a cloudy orange color with a bigger, froth, white head.
Smells of floral, crisp citrus with a natural sweetness to it, reminding also of juicy oranges. Offers a nice juicy note, once the beer warms up, which allows a mellow toffee sweetness to cut through.
Has a perfectly smooth, yet lively mouthfeel, complimenting to the crispness of the lemon, while its body provides a nice depth and remains easily drinkable.
Tastes of pleasantly soft and well nuanced citrus, balanced by grass and white bread dough. Begins dry, while slowly evolving a lemonade sweetness, in which the malts provide a subtle toffee flavor. Finishes fairly soft, aqueous, but in perfect balance.
The plan of releasing yet another citra ipa goes, in this, beyond the idea of providing a basic portfolio of a brewery specializing in hoppy beers. The citrus is showcased in an intriguing way, callaborating with the subtle used malts, developing a very convincing balance.

330ml Bottle: taken inside Shrewsbury Market Hall at a French Crepe outlet on 19th Oct 2013.
Pours a slightly hazy orange/yellow with a thin white covering.
As the name suggests, this is dominated by citrus notes throughout. Delicate but persistent in nature within both the aroma and taste. Mild malts below the surface give the beer a more balanced feel after the initial grapefruit and lemon esters hit.
Still not sure why so many people love this breweries beers: this was OK, nothing more.

Pale ale citra
A: super cloudy golden orange 4.75
S: subtle citrus and lemon. Very citra esque
T: subtle tropical floral notes fade into a an earthy hop bitterness. Citric and herbal hop notes abound, combined with a smooth crispy malt backbone create a light refreshing hoppy brew.
Mouthfeel: medium carbonation and medium body 4.5
Overall: very smooth balanced pale ale, a lot of earthy bitterness but not as good ad the Kernels other offerings, could benefit from more hop offerings as their Galaxy id one of the best hoppy beers i've ever had.
