In my glass the beer was a dark amber color. There was a modest light tan head with a good deal of lace.
Nutty aroma, maple syrup.
Pecan taste, syrupy.
Very sweet. I'd even say it was cloyingly sweet.
I drank the pint and rather enjoyed it. When the bartender asked me if I wanted another, I begged off.

This beer smells delicious, like a freshly baked pecan pie. Unfortunately, the flavors are not as appealing. To me the pecan flavors are overly aggressive, giving an impression of pecan that is too sweet and somehow artificial-tasting.

Tastes exactly like a pecan pie. Amazing. I wish I had access to this on the regular.

a desert beer, my wife kind of likes it but it was too sweet and to much like a sweet rootbeer to me.
