Hindbær Lakrids Ale is, as the name suggests, a raspberry and licorice beer at the experimental end. A refreshing beer full of flavor experiences, first raspberry then licorice, and you can always feel that you are drinking a beer. In Hindbær Lakrids Ale, raspberry juice and licorice are added both during boiling and fermentation. In short, a different and fantastic experience.

Copenhagen 13/1 2023. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Det Lille Bryggeri’s usual label design with a red sun hovering over raspberries and licorice.
Pours slightly unclear yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a bit of licorice root. Sweet raspberry with a tart touch. Sweet licorice. Light salty touch.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a light tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet fruit with a light salty touch.
Lives up to the concept of mixing raspberry and licorice. No more, no less.
