Well, I saw this today at a grocery store. $3.99 for a sixer. What the hell. Looked pretty generic, I had never seen this stuff before. The purchase was novelty.

A: pretty pale. light straw I'd say. Not expecting much here

S: reminds me of coors banquet or maybe rolling rock. Definitely all the right components of a light beer's aroma. A bit malty, minus alcohol.

T: Might be one of the worst tastes from a beer.

M: Terrible

O: My post purchase experience matched my pre purchase expectation. Though I do not regret the purchase, yes, this beer is awful.

A craft-light beer from Monroe Wi, not Blue Diamond as selected. The can says 'Blue Diamond....Monroe WI" which is likely the Minhas Craft Brewery who makes many other fine beers, and coincidentally, the Kirkland Signature LIght Beer as well.

I like the brewer's sense of humor, that is, all the gourmet craft beers at Minhas leave this beer in the dust, yet none of these epicurean brew's can boast of 'orange target rings' on the side of the container, which makes this beer fit for the likes of any wanna-be-Rambo (or Rambo himself).

The numbers say it all: 4.2 ABV, 95 Calories, 3.5g carbs. This beer is an ultra-light rivaling the best at efficiency. The bonus is that I would rate its taste as the best-in-class, rivaling Milwaukee's Best LIght in independent double blind taste tests. And, by the way, Michelob Ultra consistently ranks lowest for me in taste & enjoyment, despite its marketing appeal.

Yesterday and today, the temps were over 100 degrees here, and these are the days of summer that want of very cold tasty won't-slow-you-down beer. I would rename this beer from 'Hunters Select' to 'Good2Go.'

It does what it's meant to, and the taste is welcoming and fresh.

Now, how 'bout keep the numbers and make a hoppy version: and name the beer 'Hop2It'

:)
