On draught at the pub. Served in a pint glass with a small head. Server said that this beer is a sister beer to the Snoshovel ESB, but definitely not the same beer. She also mentionded that the new brewer made this beer in honor of the first 90 degree day of summer. Nice carbonation releases the lightest scent of earthy hops and a nice caramel nose. Very smooth mouthfeel and a slight roasted taste on the tip of the tounge. Medium bitterness meets the malt halfway and the beer finishes very clean-asking for another sip to validate the first. Very nice. One of my favorite styles. Cheers.

Draught @ Brewpub: I'm not sure if this is the Sno-shovel brewed in the summer, but they gave it a different name. This one pours a hazy coppery color. It has a small white head that leaves some lacing. Mainly caramel malts to the nose, with some earthy hops. Caramel malt taste, with a hint of smokiness, and some earthy hops. Just slightly bitter. A very nice beer.
