From their ESB series which seem to be based on the season (Sandshovel = summer, Snowshovel = winter).
Pours a copper/amber color, any head that may have existed was gone by the time I got it, only a thin ring and very little lacing is left.
Smell and especially taste are bland, but not offensive. Very light herbal/earthy hops, light fruit and malt with a bready finish. Slightly medicinal. Flavors are pretty weak.
Carbonation is on the low side, the mouthfeel is decent. Screams "average" in just about every aspect.
