a unique little wheat beer in here, balanced, flavorful, refreshing, satisfying, i think these guys are underrated, even though the selection was small and things still seem a little bit amateur, the beer was better than their reputation by a long shot, ill be back for sure, and if its been awhile, maybe check them out again, i had a great experience. this has a pale straw color to it, a nice white head from the tap at the bar there, and a slightly herbaceous aroma that i dont usually get in the style, almost a grains of paradise sort of complexion, although i think we just have grain and hops in here. a note of lemongrass in the taste, and all of the wheat, earthy with some slightly copper-esque minerals or something to it, a touch of cooked sweetness here as well, and some balancing, citric sort of bitterness to the end, good proportions here, its good and dry, and the fermentation profile is clean. its not the most ambitious thing in the world, but it doesnt need to be. its a nice summer drinker that has some flavor, some texture from the wheat, and nice carbonation. good refreshment value here.
