Appearance: minimal head, straw yellow in color, clear, high carbonation

Smell: blueberries and light straw

Taste: sweet blueberries, light straw, and honey

Mouthfeel: light body and moderate carbonation, sweet but not overly so

Drinkability: I could drink this all day long. nice and light and the blueberries are present. They star, but do not feel artificial. This is one of the better blueberry beers I have had. I wish I could find this off the island.

appearance - Hazy gold color here, with a small white head.

smell - Blueberries and some hops, whatelse?

taste - Some toasted malts, with a slight bit of blueberry taste, and slight bitterness to it.

mouthfeel - Medium-light.

drinkability - I have had a handful of blueberry beers, only a few I have liked. Either it has hints of blueberries, or a blueberry syrup base is added. This was one tasted a little odd to me. The people in my party didn't like it but then again, they are macro brew drinkers.

Pungent notes of crack-a-black pepper; fresh milled jumbo peppercorns from New Zealand's south shore; no McCormick grinder here. The color that of summer haze across the horizon viewed from the gazebo at ocean park in oak bluffs near the brewpub. Crisp crackly pop rocks in my mouth a right hook to my jaw; spacious viscosity. The drinkability suffers marginally from the lacking of a handful of fresh local blueberries from the beaches of gay head in my vessel as I experienced just 3 summers ago. Hints of orange zest, rawhide and sea salt confess at the alter of my pint's rim.

Fresh pint at the brewpub. A nice amber color, not too dark or too light. Had about a dozen blueberries that kept floating up and dropping down. The blueberry flavor was very subtle, the aroma slighty less so. Just enough to remind me that it had the blueberries in it. The head was very small, (with a hint of purple where the berries were dropped in) but lasted the entire pint. As listed on the beer menu, it was a very drinkable beer, great for summer. It did a great job of quenching my thirst after a long day on the vineyard.

Poured a hazy gold with lots of lace. Four or five blueberries that would alternate turns floating along the top with the others resting along the bottom. Aroma was full of blueberries with a slight hop presence. The nice thing about this beer was that it was not just blueberries, but was nicely balanced with some slightly toasted malts and some surprising hops. In fact, the blueberry flavor was not as strong as I expected (almost feared).
