Thanks Maggie for sharing this 64oz growler at our tasting. The brew is black in color with hardly a couple bubbles formation for a head. I imagine the seal was not formed well after it was filled, whatever time to press on.
The smell is tangy and green yeastiness almost like bell peppers with fruity alcohol, fresh oats, a touch of chocolate. It does not smell good despite being placed into a brand new, never used growler and stored refridgerated since purchase.
The taste is green like bell peppers, tangy alcohol, faint chocolate and some fresh oats. This beer tastes like a failure. It is medium to light bodyied, flat and not that enjoyable despite trying to tell myself that it "only tastes this weird way because of the coffee." Would not advise purchasing this.

a: Black body; served with a small, dark brown head.
s: Roasty, nutty coffee with some chocolate and a hint of black bread.
t: Strong coffee flavor that is neither sour nor acidic, just roasty and pleasantly bitter. Hints of choclatey malts and something nutty.
m: Soft and airy.
o: Really nicely drive, two points went down very easily.
