I was hoping to get a taste of the Imperial French Ale, but it was still brewing. This was a pleasant surprise on my first trip to Lavery Brewing in Erie. The Dula Vibes was listed as a Tripel IPA, but it had a definite Belgian appearance, smell, and taste. I am not much of a reviewer, so all I can say is that when I drink a fantastic beer, I know it, and this is truly fantastic. Lavery Brewing created this beer along with Voodoo. It has a brown appearance with a little head. It is bubbly with a Belgian taste. The alcohol is somewhat hidden, but it sneaks up fast. Since I could not take this back to Pittsburgh in a bottle or growler, I had a second brandy glass. To make a long story short, I found my wallet eventually. It was under the passenger seat in my car. How it got there I don't know. I was sitting there as I certainly wasn't driving.

Get it while it lasts if you happen to be in Erie.
