Agressive pour yields half a pint glass of head. Beer is pale yellow with active, champagne-like carbonation. Hops smack you in the face even before you get all pretentious and go sticking your nose in the glass. Label says it's hopped with bravo, amarillo, citra, mosaic and simcoe. Smells nice. Melon notes, soft pineapple; very juicy, fragrance-wise. Taste follows, although it's a lot more bitter than the nose implies. Has a piney aftertaste, too. It's not unpleasant, though. Whole lotta citrus going on to provide balance. Mouth is thicker than I imagined. At 4.2% ABV and being so aggressively hopped, I expected a watery mess. It's not. As the label suggests, it's "a beer you can go 10 rounds with". May reach for this instead of All-Day IPA or Dayblazer or whatever the next time I'm in the mood for a good session beer.
