From the label: "Our new-age pastry stout is brewed with graham crackers in the mash, chocolate in the boil and marshmallow fluff in the fermentor."
OK then.
Looks like a pretty standard issue stout; dark body, slim malted milk ball head. Smells of mild roasted coffee with faint hints of milk chocolate. There's not a whole lot there on the nose, to be honest. Smells more like a dry irish stout than a "new-age pastry stout" - whatever the fuck that is. Tastes better than it smells, fortunately. Mild chocolate up front and you really get graham cracker and vanilla on the finish. Chocolate covered coffee bean aftertaste. Not overly sweet, which I appreciate. A little thin, but still pleasant.Decent enough, especially for the price - 10 bucks for a 4 pack.
