This 8.2% ABV, DDH New England DIPA was not once, not twice, but Thrice Oated! We pushed the envelope and hit this with about three times the amount of Oats in the mash as our standard New England Style brews, and included three different types of Oats to boot.
This big pillowy base was then aggressively Double Dry Hopped with Strata CGX, Mosaic Cryo, Motueka, and Citra. The enhanced airy, silky, viscous body that the oats lend is apparent and boasted with big smooth tropical fruit and marmalade notes upfront that give way to a citrusy orange rind finish.
