OK, let’s cut right to the Chase(ing Seagulls). Modern technology has brought us amazing things: wireless music from endless catalogs, white collar workers slaving away from home, a complete lack of exploding Ford Pintos, & a new category of beer that’s sweet, dull, & uniform.
This one at least throws a few punches at the mold. It’s still sweet, but not gum-curlingly so & has a little hop character other than orange juice. Touch of hop bite, even.
Pretty good as a beer & stands out in a sea of uninteresting NE IPAs.
