4 oz. tasting glass on tap at the brewery.
Appearance: Pours a cloudy straw. Not the color I expected; looks different from other English bitters I've had. Pretty big white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Pretty faint, but there's a little bread and some prickly hops.
Taste: Not a super bitter bitter. Kind of has a toasty, malty character with some hop bitterness and slight booze burn.
Mouthfeel: Medium depth. Not as thick as some in this style.
Overall: I'm not a huge fan of this style, but this is pretty well executed. Seems like an attempt at a light, almost summery English bitter. It's decent.
