Beautiful pour. Extremely dark brown with a gorgeous thick head that stays there.
Decent nose.
Tastes good, but kind of dull. Very faint hint of rye.
Good beer, not exceptional.

Pours opaque, jet black in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is dark chocolate, vanilla, coconut, and oak. Medium-heavy bodied, sweet and roasty, with moderate carbonation. I like Rising Tide and this is my favorite beer from them to date. Complex and amazing imperial stout. Well worth seeking out.

Damn, this is a great beer!
It poured a black color in my teku. There was a huge, fluffy, light tan head. It looked like someone made an ice cream float, it was so big. It left some sticky lace and retained well.
Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, oak, and bourbon.
Taste followed the nose. Both dark and sweet chocolate, vanilla, oak. And don't forget the bourbon.
Heavy-bodied. The alcohol complimented the beer.
