This is billed as a centennial pale ale, celebrating Maine's ratification of the 19th Amendment. It is also a collaboration with Moderation Brewing Company.
It pours medium-dark copper color, clear with a biscuit 2 finger head. Aroma is pungent pine and citrus with some light malt there too. Flavor is similar with an equal balance between malt and hops, so hops are weak compared to the current ipa trend. However this is a tasty beer with no off flavors, nice and clean. Finish is strong. This is crisp but has a medium mouthfeel. Bitterness is light.
A great ale in the non-New England variety. Very well done.
