This was the fourteenth iteration of All Together that I was able to get my hands on and like many of the others, it was via a trade. In addition, this was the first beer from Rising Tide that I had as I hadn't even heard of them before. For a brewery from Maine, this was what I expected as it was a nicely crafted, typical New England IPA without any bells, whistles, or excess!
The pour to this was good as the liquid had a hazy, brassy hue to it as it was bright without being overly radiant. A moderate, but long-lasting head topped it off as the lacing left behind was quite extensive without being thick. Loads of oats and malt in the nose along with lively lime pith and tropical fruit as the taste followed suit. Deep orange, blood orange sweetness and juiciness, and a turbid forest came through in the taste as this had a lovely feel on the palate while still being accessible and never heavy. Not a lot of carbonation here as the aftertaste was moderately slick and malty once the liquid went down.
Not a lot of booze here and the carbonation was light, which allowed the flavors to linger. Canned on 4/23, there wasn't any sediment to be seen here as this had a uniform appearance to it. A bit of mint was on my breath as this finished clean and left me wanting more. Nice job with this one as there weren't any weak aspects to it as this wasn't a textbook New England IPA. Looking forward to my next rising tide!
