canned 9/24/20
Pours a light fizzy 1/2 finger head with med retention and fair lacing, hazy cloudy honey golden-blond color
Nose is interesting, musty tropical notes, with a bit of resin like, but lots of musty tropical like guava, and a bit of passion fruit, papaya, some orange and citrus notes as well as hint of almost banana like character, light creamy sweet malt
Taste brings more of the same, a little dank musty tropical fruits, lots of papaya, a bit of guava and a little passion fruit, as well as the citrus, some guzu or star fruit maybe, some sweet malt notes, but lots of creamy flaked wheat/oat protein, a little chalky mineral note, a touch of ruby red grapefruit and pith notes, drier finish with a touch of spicy green hop and some bitter rind
Mouth is med bod, creamy soft, little chalky, med fizzy carb
Overall not bad, interesting, not something I'd really search after, reminds me of a lot of Rising Tide beers, that are in the middle of the road

From a 16 oz. can with a canning date of 09-25-20. Sampled Oct. 19, 2020.
The appearance is a cloudy, hazy yellow-golden topped with a fading white head. Not as pulpy as some NEIPA's that I have had.
The aroma is alive with tropical fruits such as pineapple and guava along with a pine presence. Under it all you find a cereal grain breadiness.
Medium mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet briefly and then the tropical and pine hop notes squirt in like a juice bomb. I drank it far more quickly than I thought I would.
