Notes:
What could possibly be better than the combination of deep roasted malts, coffee, oak, and a smooth, creamy finish? All of those things dosed with liquid Nitrogen, of course.
Ode To Mercy overflows with bold flavors woven into a very balanced and approachable beer that finishes with creamy lingering hints of oak, coffee (specially blended by Atlanta, GA’s Land of 1000 Hills), and roasted goodness. Bright citrus hops peek through from time to time, adding additional layers of complexity. Finished with Nitrogen, Nitrode has a beautifully layered flavor and an incredibly smooth mouthfeel.

Look: Poured a 12 oz. can into a pint glass. Hazy tinged copper color with a creamy off-white head that disappeared rather quickly for a NITRO.
Smell and Taste: High on the malt sweetness low on hops with hints of coffee and oak.
Feel: Somewhat light and watery.
Overall: The beer will pare with just about anything but it's not my style. I've grown to expect a lot more from a nitro than this brew delivered. I would drink again under the right conditions but I think I'll be moving on for now.

Transluscent amber is dark (SRM 11-14), with a thin, off-white head. Fine bubbles are quickly all that's left on top of a PBGC Subtle pint glass.
Black coffee is far less than expected in the aroma. There are some cashews, and caramel can be found, though both are subdued. Warmth brings out a light, toasted quality.
As for the flavor, this is a Brown Ale. It has nuts, it is sweet, and it is slightly more bitter than I would expect. The sweet nuts are mild, while the finish is more of the same, with an added, light astringency that lingers.
A silky, soft texture and medium to full body. Carbonation is soft and there is no presence of alcohol. The lack of alcohol is shocking, given this is listed as 7.2% ABV.
As a drinking beer, this would be enjoyable after work with colleagues, if only the alcohol were lower. As a Nitro beer, this falls flat. Still, sometimes we just want an easy drinking beer, and this would fill that niche.

Pours with almost no head. Is a bit flat on mouth feel, but taste is good - just leaves you wanting for more.

Poured from the tap into a 20 OZ mug at Taco Mac. The appearance is a semi-clear reddish Amber with a small white head. The aroma is cinnamon and faint hops. The taste is a smooth mix of spices with a noticeable alcohol bite.

12oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 8.99/ 4 pack. Canned 9/16/16. Served in a Wild Heaven snifter.
Pours dark chocolate brown with almost three fingers of pale khaki head. The froth settles to a thin veneer and fluffy band that linger without imparting any lace.
Smells of coffee, milk sugar, caramel and a little cocoa. As a fan of coffee beers I find it quite alluring.
The flavor is able to deliver the coffee promised by the nose. Cold brewed coffee, chocolate, burnt caramel, hints of sweet cream and a faint notes of dark fruity Belgian yeast.
Creamy, smooth medium body with the signature delightfully soft "carbonation" that only nitrogen can give. Finishes with coffee, mild sweet cream and a little chocolate.
I've enjoyed Ode To Mercy since it's initial release as one of Wild Heaven's flagships several years ago. Bringing the nitro version to cans was an inspired choice. All that coffee, chocolate and softly Belgian goodness of the original with the added benefit of the smooth, rich body I enjoy from nitro. It may not be a daily drinker for me but I can see this being a regular purchase.
