This marks the last of my Wild Heaven beers (for now) & it greatly saddens The CANQuest (tm) since they have all been winners, worthy of inCANsion. The label on this one really speaks to me since, during the Hop Shortage of 2007 (?), I met a guy at a homebrew shop in Downingtown, PA selling hops like this (sort of). I even did a "Character" (personality) piece about him for my "Ale Street News" column as a result.
From the CAN: "Goodvice Double India Pale Ale"; "Serve Your Neighbor".
I beCAN by Crack!ing open the vent & then I followed up with a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass stein. It foamed nicely to form just under two fingers of foamy, soapy, rocky, bone-white head with limited retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose had a bready maltiness acCANponied by pine mintiness and orange/CANgerine citrusiness. Mouthfeel was medium, but on the thin side for the style. The taste was muted, not as intense as on the nose, with a cool mintiness and a light citrusiness. It did not live up to its promise from its nose nor was it a good representation of the style. Finish was semi-dry to dry, but lacked an appropriate bitterness for the style throughout. Perhaps I should have quit while I was ahead. 8=( YMMV.

Poured from 12oz can into glass. Stamped canning date on can bottom is '03/08/18'.
Medium cloudy, pale gold colored body. Half of a finger of off white head, settles to partial cap and ring. Leaves behind some strings of lacing.
Aroma is tropical fruit and piney hops, with some malts.
Strong taste of bitter piney hops and more sweet tropical fruit hops, along with some malts.
Medium mouth feel, a little slurpy. Decent carbonation.
A higher ABV% IPA with some strong flavors of piney and fruity hops. Probably a little past prime, based on canning date. Not super balanced and the sweetness level is a little much.

The beer at first seems fresh at 1st blush, but the aroma is a little off, and the taste is definitely too sweet and seems to have been made from old malt. This is a fresh batch, so it's not just an old beer. I used to give breweries a pass when something got past quality control- now I only do if it's the store's fault for keeping around old dusty bottles. I didn't enjoy this.

Good, but was disappointed! I had hoped for a much better beer based on its claim for hops forward. I love DIPAs, but this misses the mark. I have 2 more left from 4-pack, but not excited about next ones. First time I paid a premium price for a 4-pack that was 12 oz cans instead of 16 oz. Maybe my expectations were higher as result.

Pours a lightly hazy golden color didn't know it was can conditioned but lots of floaters which isn't an issue at least for me. only a thumb sized off white head on an aggressive pour light sheet lacing left on my glass.
Aroma is malty sweet bread notes, deep pine and veggies, some good earthy notes beer is lightly dank but at the same time hops aren't as strong as most doubles. Canned on 3/8 so not too old.
Taste is good malt base on this one bready with noticeable citrus fruits for a second before turning danker veggie like with earthy notes and light lingering pine bitterness and a touch of sweetness in the finish. Again seems like it was aged a little but was canned on March the 8th so only 7 weeks old.
Mouthfeel is bigger medium with mellow carbonation.
Overall not bad just doesn't have the hops in your face as one would expect a big I2PA to have. Worth a try but don't seem me having this one again.

12oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 3.69. Canned 10/3/17. Served in a Wild Heaven snifter. Enjoyed 10/16/17.
Pours a hazy pale amber with a meager cap of white bubbles. No retention remains after that initial cap crackles away.
Smells of oranges, melon, seeds, bread dough and caramel.
The flavor initially hits more boozey and bitter than expected. Tangerine, pineapple, sap, berry seeds, pepper, faint mint, bread and a little booze. It smooths some as the chill subsides but the alcohol bite remains.
Semi slick, medium feel with slight carbonation. Lingering, bitter aftertaste with citrus peel, sap and a little alcohol-tinged breadiness.
Good Vice is a solid DIPA and the best hop work I've had from Wild Heaven. Glad to see them step up a bit in this area they seemed to have all but overlooked for the first several years.

Pours a hazy deep golden yellow. Good retention and lacing.
Nose is tropical fruit, pine, lemon, grapefruit.
Taste follows. Intense tropical fruit, mango, light pineapple. Followed by lemon rind, grapefruit, and pine. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Great beer.

Pretty decent double IPA. Poured on draft at Nic and Norms in 16oz glass.
A: Golden, somewhat on the dark end
S: Pine, can smell the hops
T: Somewhat bitter, smooth finish for a double IPA
M: expected
O: Good IPA, not the best I've had, but definitely would drink again

This is an exceptional DIPA. It has a bready aroma and a distinct balance to the hops. It's strong. There's a firm head from the pour and a strong finish. I'm looking forward to finding another 4-pack.
