Pours a clear pale gold producing a short fizzy head that rapidly dissipates leaving no sign of its existence behind other than a a faint hairline collar. Aroma is bread, fruit (especially pear) herbal and lemon wrapped around a medicinal note and faint acetic hint. Taste is nicely balanced as fruit and yeast flavors are not overpowered by tartness. The flavor profile is pear, green apple, dough and thin funk overlying other fruits with a brine-like hint developing in the finish (even though there's no mention of salt in this brew). The yeast in this imparts some nice qualities. The brew is slightly phenolic in the finish and fruity, faintly tart aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation; A little prickly but not distractingly tart. Very pleasant. Very nice.

A very nice sour ale from Wild Heaven. This one is in cans and is billed as a "wild pear sour ale made with Georgia grown wild pears from the Arnold Family Farm in Benevolence, Georgia and refermented with native South Georgia micro-flora." Lovely aromas and flavors, with a pear essence overlaying a clean, sour, funk. Thirst quenching, but substantially complex. A definite success.
