12 oz can with a December 2020 canning date stamped on the bottom. $3.10 from the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC.
Appearance. Clear brown body despite some sediment in the end of the pour into my Belgian snifter. There's a good beige head on top.
While coffee, bourbon, oak barrel, and brown ale are clearly evident, the mix is unharmonious. A likely casualty of this is the impression of poor quality made by both the coffee and bourbon components.
Overall. Another disappointing brew from Wild Heaven.

Look: Pours a clear, transparent, tinged copper color with an off-white head the quickly disperses to a thin ring around the glass. Mild lacing on the sides.
Smell and Taste: Hints of bourbon (obviously).
Feel: Quite dry, as in not sweet, and dry, as in not a thirst quencher. Seltzer like on the palate.
Overall: I seldom go for brown ales but thought I'd give this one a try because of the "Bourbon Barrel-Aged." It'll be awhile before I go for another Brown ale.

Murky brown with red hints no head bar pour. Nose is malty, nice spice and light bourbon notes. Taste is good malty, light coffee, caramel hints of oak vanilla, good spice and light barrel notes. Seems very smooth and well blended. Overall would have again if I saw it on tap, tasty.
