Our ongoing collaboration with the Atlanta Botanical Garden is one of our great privileges and has produced amazing beers. Wild Heaven Brewmaster Eric Johnson and ABG Horticultural Director Amanda Bennett combined their talents to create a one of a kind floral, full-flavored, delicious beer. Garden Beer Season 5, built on a saison backbone, features star anise, ginger, pomegranate, vanilla and is a full-flavored yet delicate holiday beer. Visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden to enjoy it during Garden Lights, Holiday Nights and pick up six-packs and draft pours at both Wild Heaven locations.

Can't comment on the look because it was served in a can....no glass or cup.
The aroma was pleasing with vanilla, pomegranate and chocolate. Ginger and anise are listed as ingredients but they are subtle enough as to be missed. Cacao is not in the description but is on the can art, and is evident in the aroma and taste.
Pomegranate, vanilla and chocolate are balanced in the taste.
Carbonation was spot on and provides a cleansing sensation for the next sip.
The brewery says this is "built on a saison backbone" so I'm not sure why it's in the Wild Ale category, unless it's because "Wild" is in the brewery name?
Oddly this beer doesn't match the entirety of it's description, which indicates ginger and anise (that it lacks) and does not indicate chocolate/cacao (which it has).
That said, the pomegranate, vanilla and chocolate are balanced and meld nicely. Wild Heaven has provided ABG a good beer, and I'd get a couple sixers if it was available in warm weather.
