Actually like this a little more than regular Hopsecutioner, though that's not necessarily high praise. I find many of Terrapin's offerings to be overly harsh and raw (you can be big and bold without being unbalanced), and Hopsecutioner falls into that category for me. This version, with some bright citrus and tartness added to the flavor profile, seems to bring things a little more into balance. Great, foamy look and medium-carbonated feel, though the smell is somewhat lacking especially in the lemon and tangerine areas (given the name). But solid offering overall. Would be a solid warm-weather beer when you're in the mood for something with a little substance.

Served in 16 oz glass. Clear, amber color with a rapidly dissipating head. Lemon, ginger on the nose. Clean, crisp, citrus, lemon taste. Medium well carbonated mouthfeel. Overall, very nice. Would drink again.

Citrus on the nose, but the flavor and mouthfeel just don't work for me. Almost seems like there is ginger somewhere in the mix? Not the worst thing I've had, but not enjoyable
